StriveMatch is built on respect, honesty, and responsible participation. These guidelines help us protect the integrity of cricket discovery.
Some pages remain in English during early-access public beta.
StriveMatch exists because cricket recruitment should be built on trust, proof, and respect. These plain-language conduct guidelines help all participants - players, scouts, clubs, coaches, sponsors, and organisations - maintain the integrity of the platform and protect the community.
Use these guidelines alongside Help, Privacy, Terms, feedback, and profile reports. StriveMatch is a public beta, so trust and safety work is practical, human-reviewed, and focused on reducing misleading proof, unsafe contact, fake claims, and inappropriate use of cricket data.
Submit performance proof that is authentic and represents your cricket ability. Do not manipulate, edit, misrepresent, or falsify footage. Do not claim performance that is not yours or mislead scouts about match context, opposition, or your role.
Use your real name and accurate details. Do not create fake accounts, impersonate others, or misrepresent your age, location, role, or experience level. Provide truthful information about your cricket background.
Only submit videos or details you have permission to share. If footage includes teammates, opponents, coaches, youth players, or spectators, ensure sharing is appropriate and permitted. Younger players should involve a parent, guardian, coach, club official, or trusted adult before sharing proof or attending opportunities. Respect the privacy and identity of others in your proof.
Players who are under 18 or still developing in junior pathways should avoid sharing private contact details publicly, should not meet unknown scouts or organisers alone, and should ask a parent, guardian, coach, or trusted adult to review trials, messages, and travel arrangements.
If invited to trials or events, communicate clearly with clubs and coaches. Honor commitments you make. If you cannot attend, notify organisers promptly. Do not submit trial applications insincerely or misrepresent your availability or interest.
Scouts and clubs invest time reviewing your proof. Respect their review process and any feedback they provide. Do not harass, pressure, or demand responses from scouts. Understand that interest or review does not guarantee selection.
Review player proof fairly and professionally. Do not use proof, contact, or Player Passport information for purposes other than cricket recruitment and player development. Respect player privacy, use appropriate channels, and involve a parent, guardian, coach, or club official when youth safety requires it.
Be clear and truthful about opportunities, timelines, and expectations. If you are interested in a player, communicate this professionally. If you decline interest, do so respectfully. Do not mislead players about trial selection, contract terms, or opportunities.
Do not harass players through repeated contact, aggressive messaging, or pressure to respond. Respect player boundaries and communication preferences. Do not use platform access to solicit favors, payment, or non-cricket services.
Only request scout or coach verification if you are a legitimate cricket professional. Do not misrepresent your role, club affiliation, or authority. Do not claim hiring authority you do not have. Be transparent about your purpose on StriveMatch.
Use shortlists and notes as private tools for recruitment organisation. Do not use shortlists or public signals as ranking systems, draft claims, or public endorsements. Respect that player inclusion in your shortlist is not a selection, contract, or guarantee.
Do not create fake accounts, fake activity, fake reviews, or fake partnerships. Do not falsely claim affiliation with clubs, academies, sponsors, or organisations. Do not make guaranteed selection, contract, visa, or payment claims that you cannot fulfil.
StriveMatch moderation exists to protect the community. If you receive moderation feedback, respond constructively. If you witness conduct that violates these guidelines, use the report function. False reports waste moderation resources and harm the community.
Report privacy, youth-safety, impersonation, harassment, misleading proof, or inappropriate contact concerns with specific context. Avoid adding unnecessary private details to reports; StriveMatch reviews reports manually during public beta.
Do not engage in harassment, bullying, sexual advances, hate speech, or discriminatory behaviour. Do not use platform communication for threats, abuse, or coercion. Violations will result in account review and potential removal.
Do not attempt to manipulate data, cheat verification, bypass moderation, or exploit system features. Do not share account access or impersonate other users. Do not use the platform for spam, commercial exploitation, or illegal activity.
Sponsorship interest, media kits, and commercial signals are visibility tools only. They are not endorsements, contracts, or payment promises. Do not use StriveMatch data for unauthorised commercial purposes. Do not claim sponsorship or brand partnerships without explicit agreement.
StriveMatch moderation is manual and human-reviewed. If your account, submission, or conduct is flagged, we may ask for clarification, request updates, or remove content. Moderation decisions aim to protect community trust and platform integrity.
Serious violations of these guidelines may result in account limitations, temporary suspension, or permanent removal. Repeat violations of conduct policy will be escalated. We reserve the right to restrict or disable accounts that pose safety or integrity risks.
If you believe a moderation decision is unfair, contact us through the feedback form with specific context. We will review your request, but we do not provide formal legal dispute resolution during public beta.
StriveMatch is not a social network. There are no likes, follows, engagement metrics, or algorithmic ranking. Trust is built through proof, verification, and careful human review - not hype or popularity.
We are building StriveMatch for the long term. Conduct violations that damage trust today damage the platform for everyone. Honest, respectful participation protects the integrity of cricket recruitment for all.
If you have questions about these guidelines, contact us via the feedback form. We take conduct seriously and are happy to clarify.
