Trust Centre
Proof-first commitments, safeguarding standards, and honest boundaries during adult-beta preparation.
Trust Centre explains boundaries, safeguarding, and what StriveMatch does not guarantee.
Platform principles
Canonical trust reference
These sections bring the platform’s explanatory trust guidance into one Trust Centre without changing account authority, evidence-review status, visibility, safeguarding controls, or any verification workflow.
Trust labels and verification boundaries
This guide explains current trust labels and previews possible future private verification boundaries. It does not provide official governing-body verification or accreditation.
Trust badges show profile completeness, proof reviewed status, media link checks, Independent Review progress, or public beta trust signals. They do not guarantee selection, contracts, trials, sponsorship, scholarships, visas, payment, income, or official accreditation.
Prefer compact labels such as Profile Complete, Proof Reviewed, Media Link Checked, Manual Review Status, and Public Beta trust signals. Avoid implying verified scout status, official verification, guaranteed authenticity, or club approval unless explicitly backed.
A label is only meaningful when the relevant runtime authority and evidence actually support it; it is never an endorsement or a shortcut to professional access.
Player Trust Label
Cricket proof or evidence context has been added for review.
Trust badges for a player are platform context only. StriveMatch does not guarantee selection, scouting, trials, contracts, sponsorship, or club contact. Sensitive documents, if introduced later, should be private and admin-only.
Club Trust Label
Organisation context has been reviewed as a platform trust signal.
Trust labels for a club are platform context only. They do not guarantee selection, trials, contracts, sponsorship, scholarships, visas, payment, income, or official accreditation. Sensitive documents, if introduced later, should be private and admin-only.
Parent / Guardian Trust Label
A junior player has parent or guardian support noted as a safety signal.
Trust labels for a parent / guardian are platform context only. They do not guarantee selection, trials, contracts, sponsorship, scholarships, visas, payment, income, or official accreditation. Sensitive documents, if introduced later, should be private and admin-only.
League Trust Label
Organisation context has been reviewed as a platform trust signal.
Trust labels for a league are platform context only. They do not guarantee selection, trials, contracts, sponsorship, scholarships, visas, payment, income, or official accreditation. Sensitive documents, if introduced later, should be private and admin-only.
These examples describe possible future platform context. They are not live verification levels or official accreditation.
Sensitive documents, if introduced later, should be private and admin-only. They should not be displayed publicly on profiles.
Trust badges are not official cricket law authority, governing-body approval, coaching certification, visa review, contract approval, sponsor approval, guaranteed authenticity, or selection confirmation. Human reviewers and organisations still make independent decisions.
Profile reliability
Profile Reliability explains what evidence and context are present, what has been reviewed, and what may still be missing. It does not measure cricket ability, rank players, or predict selection.
Player-supplied context, evidence review, profile visibility, and missing context answer different trust questions and must not collapse into a single “Verified” claim.
Role, style, age group and broad region are profile context unless a separate label says otherwise.
Human review records the evidence state. Review completion does not certify talent or endorse a player.
Visibility states who can see a profile. It is separate from account and evidence-review status.
A clear profile shows gaps such as missing dates, match context, source detail or additional role evidence.

Opening batter · U19 · Broad cricket region
This example illustrates separate reliability states only. It is not a live player, reviewer decision, or recruitment signal.
Reviewers can see an approved video link and the cricket category it supports.
Role, broad region and player-supplied match or training notes are clearly labelled.
Missing source, date, competition or role evidence stays visible as a gap, not a score.
For junior players, use an age group and broad cricket region. Keep exact location, school, private contact details, guardian identity, documents and unapproved evidence out of public profile context.
StriveMatch does not guarantee selection, scouting, trials, contracts, sponsorship, or club contact.
Media authenticity review
These are signals to guide human review — not final evidence. All decisions are made by human reviewers. No automatic actions are taken, and this guidance does not automatically decide authenticity, guilt, player ability, visibility, or enforcement.
Checks are signals only — human judgment decides all outcomes.
Never label a profile as fake, fraud, or confirmed misuse before a human review establishes the appropriate context.
For ordinary missing proof or context, request clarification before considering a visibility restriction.
Where existing authorised controls permit, restrict public visibility promptly for exposed personal information, unsafe junior footage, or urgent safeguarding risks; escalate for human review without waiting for player clarification. Decisions must be proportionate, auditable and reversible.
Visibility may be temporarily limited while a genuine concern is reviewed; review actions must remain reversible.
Respect player privacy and do not expose private contact or sensitive personal details.
No automatic bans, guilt labels, or permanent blocks are created by this guidance.

Consent and safety
A human reviewer may clear the concern when the available evidence and context are sufficient, restoring full visibility with no further media-review action required. This is not a talent endorsement or official sporting verification.
A human reviewer may request more context or clearer match evidence from the player when the existing proof is incomplete.
Profile visibility may be reduced while media review continues. The player can still access their account; the limitation is precautionary and subject to human review.
A profile may remain temporarily limited during review and may be restored after review. Serious or repeated concerns should be escalated to an authorised human reviewer or administrator; this guide does not automate enforcement.

Proof-first discovery
StriveMatch organises Performance Evidence for Independent Review. Verified Scouts and Verified Clubs use video evidence, Player Profile context, and honest match details — not social hype, rankings, or automated scores.
What StriveMatch reviews
Reviewers focus on whether evidence is usable, cricket-related, and honestly described.
What StriveMatch does not guarantee
StriveMatch does not guarantee selection, scouting, trials, contracts, sponsorship, or club contact.
Demo and sample content
Demo / sample profile — illustrative content, not a live recruitment profile. Sample review states do not mean a real StriveMatch review occurred.
Scout and club responsibility
Scouts, clubs, academies, and trial hosts remain responsible for suitability, safety, eligibility, and follow-up.
StriveMatch does not guarantee selection, contracts, scholarships, sponsorships, professional opportunities. Scouts and clubs make independent decisions.
Trust labels are platform context only — see No Guarantees below for full boundaries.
